Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

The website www.postedsweets.co.uk (“the website”) is owned and operated by Posted Sweets, trading as ‘postedsweets.co.uk’. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” are references to Posted Sweets. We are a company registered in England and Wales.


Your use of this website and purchase of any products from this website is at all times subject to these Terms and Conditions. By accessing our website you agree to our Terms and Conditions set out below. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must exit our website immediately.
This document does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer (such as rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
Changes to Terms and Conditions


We reserve the right, from time to time, with or without notice to you, to change these Terms and Conditions at our sole discretion. The Terms and Conditions applicable to your access to and use of this website will be the version that is current and displayed on the website as at each date you access the website. Your use of the website after changes are made means that you agree to be bound by such changes. These terms were last updated on 30 April 2019.


Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled prior to being marked as completed within your account, after they have been dispatched due to being food items we cannot refund or return.

Although we aim to offer you the best service possible, we make no promise that our website services will be available all of the time, meet your requirements or be fault free. If a fault occurs in the service, please report it to us (see below for contact details) and we will correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can.


Your access to the website may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will restore the service as soon as we reasonably can. In the event that our website is unavailable, our usual order and cancellation deadlines apply; please notify us of changes to your order via email at hello@postedsweets.co.uk.


All products shown on our site are subject to availability. If any product you have ordered is not available, we will contact you to let you know and will refund your payment.


Voucher codes are not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Only one voucher code may be used per order. Wowcher & Groupon discount codes are limited to one code per item and one item per order unless stated otherwise.


Weights are a guideline and may differ slightly.


Foods are bagged in an area which contains nuts.


The images of the products on our site are for illustrative purposes only and your products may vary slightly from those images.


We may periodically change the products available on our website, and we do not undertake to continue to supply any particular product or type of product.


As all of our products are prepared in the same environment, we are unable to guarantee that our products are completely free from any of the ingredients/substances listed above.


We strive to deliver our snacks to you in perfect condition, however if your snacks arrive damaged or faulty, then we always want to know about it. Please contact our customer services team.


We retain the right to request a return of any faulty goods by recorded delivery, and the product will be inspected. If we request recorded delivery then we will pay for the cost of the postage on provision of the postage receipt.

If the fault is agreed, a full refund will be given for the returned goods. If a refund is agreed then we will refund money using the same method used to make the payment, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.


Social media competitions are drawn on a monthly basis chosen at random. All winners are checked to ensure their purchase belongs to them. Open to UK residents only. Prizes are not transferable for cash. We reserve the right to withdraw the competition at anytime without any prior notice.


Unfortunately, damaged and faulty products are the only reasons for which we can offer a refund or replacement for our snacks. Due to the perishable nature of our snacks, you do not otherwise have a right to cancel your order or any contract between us and we are not otherwise able to offer refunds or allow for a return of those items, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.


We may cancel a contract under these terms and conditions by written notice to you if we are prevented from fulfilling that contract by any event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation any technical error, any unavailability of raw materials, components or products, or any power failure, industrial dispute affecting any third party, governmental regulations, fire, flood, disaster, riot, terrorist attack or war.


We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your use of our service, for any or no reason whatsoever. One reason that we may do so is if we believe that you are in breach of any obligation under these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to cancel any order prior to being marked as completed on the account status, in this circumstance a full refund will be given. If we terminate your use of our service as a result of a breach of any obligation under these Terms and Conditions, such termination would be immediate and may be without notice.


We reserve the right to cancel voucher codes or end promotions without prior notice or reason. Free gifts may vary from items stated, this includes weight and type of sweet. Free gifts are whilst stocks last. If a free gift is missed from your order, we are unable to post this out separately, we will however add this to any future purchase. 


Faulty goods will need to be returned in order for a refund to be given, we are unable to refund items which have already been consumed. If goods are found to be faulty, we will supply a returns label.


If parcels are returned to us due to non collection by you the customer, a refund can be requested for the goods inside, the original cost of postage will not be refunded. Should you wish to have your parcel redelivered, postage fees will need to be paid.

If parcels are returned to us due to being unwanted, your original delivery fee will not be refunded.The return delivery fee will also be deducted from your refund.

If parcels are returned to us due incorrect information being entered at the checkout, your original delivery fee will not be refunded.


Posted Sweets is not liable for any parcels where incorrect address information has been entered by you the customer on the checkout. Please check all information is correct prior to placing your order.

Parcels which are lost in transit, late or where a non delivery is claimed will need to be investigated by the courier. Investigations can take 5 – 15 days and depending on the outcome of the investigation a replacement or refund may be offered. If a parcel is found to be delivered with sufficient evidence no refund or replacement will be offered. Any persons fraudulently claiming a parcel has not arrived will be reported.

Klarna
