Retro Candy Hall Of Fame

Ever wondered what happened to a certain sweet, chocolate bar or piece of candy? Well many childhood favourites are no longer made. This is our retro sweet hall of fame containing sweets they no longer make!

1. Jap Desserts – not many people remember these small square sweets. They were fruit and cocoa flavour coconut sweets. These little sweets were crispy on the outside and very very sweet! They came in lots of colours including pink yellow, brown and white. We couldn’t tell you when they stopped making these but it was between 2010 & 2020.

2. Frosties – were a hard cola flavoured sweet made by Bassetts. These little sweets tasted very much like cola cubes and were very popular in the 1980’s – 1990’s. You were still able to buy Frosties as late as 2015 but they are now discontinued. Rest in peace Frosties.
